ABOUTThe Career Development Specialists Network (CDSN) was founded in 1978 by Carol Feit Lane as a forum for professional career counselors and coaches to share knowledge and expertise about career development theory and practice.
Membership in Career Development Specialists Network (CDSN) is open to new and experienced professionals as well as graduate students interested in working as a career counselor or coach (or related career development role). CDSN members work in private practice, higher education, non-profit/government organizations, and the corporate sector. CDSN meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of every month in New York City. Due to the pandemic, meetings are currently being held remotely via Zoom. Monthly meetings cover a wide range of subjects including assessment tools, employment trends, job search strategies, cross cultural counseling, entrepreneurship and clinical issues. CDSN programs are highly interactive and encourage in-depth discussions of timely issues. CDSN Members are eligible to earn CE's for attending monthly meetings and CDSN has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. Annual membership dues are $75 and are payable upon submission of this application. Membership dues cover the current year starting from Jan to Dec. |
